The QED Conference Centre is
the ideal venue for any day, evening or weekend event.
The centre offers professional styled rooms with an extension to
the rear of the building housing our conference room 'The
Oaks'. This stunning conference room with it's curved beamed
ceilings featuring a wall of floor to ceiling windows, offer's
a professional setting for any conference or exhibition.
'The Treforest Lounge' offers our
friendly refreshment area, where you can enjoy your refreshments,
lunches and breakfast requirements in a modern comfortable
lounge setting.
'The Cedars' is the perfect facility for your medium sized presentations,
creating a less formal ambience to The Oaks.
'The Beeches' is ideal for any smaller training sessions or board meeting when you need to get away from the busy office environment.
In addition the centre offers two additional training
rooms and a smaller meeting facility plus a fully equipped
computer suite.
The QED Conference Centre is a superb, purpose built business
centre. It is ideally located
close to the A470 and junction 32 of the M4 with ample free parking.
The facilities, which are managed by Qualtech Services Ltd, boasts
excellent accommodation with up to date audio-visual equipment
and quality in-house catering.
Qualtech offers a dedicated professional conference team to organise
large or small conferences, seminars, board meetings, training
courses, breakfast events, evening receptions, etc. Our conference
room comfortably seats 100 and there are five additional training/meeting
rooms providing accommodation for a small meeting for 2 to
45 delegates seated "theatre style". Our Conference
Centre Manager, Tracey
O'Neill, is on hand to ensure that your individual requirements
are met and to provide the finishing touches that are the key
to a well-organised event.
The QED Conference Centre hosts events for a wide client base
such as, Welsh Assembly Governement, Welsh Blood Service,
Employment
Service, NHS Trust, Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, Redrow Homes and South Wales Police to name but a few.
