OVERVIEW The ECDL is an internationally recognised qualification open to anybody, regardless of age, educational experience or background.
Its aim is to provide individuals with the opportunity to demonstrate
their competence across a broad range of computer skills and the
ECDL has been broken down into the 7 modules. The seven modules
that make up the ECDL are:
- Basic concepts of IT
- Using the computer and managing files
- Word processing
- Spreadsheets
- Database
- Presentation
- Information and Communication
BENEFITS OF TAKING ECDL
ECDL is designed to help people at work and at home. It will
confirm to potential employers that the person has a professionally
recognised, relevant and up-to-date qualification and it will
assist in raising familiarity with the technology and its uses.

WHY ECDL IS SO EFFECTIVE
ECDL is not like any other qualification - although it utilises
the positive aspects of the best.
It is fast becoming the most widely recognised qualification in
the field of work-related computer use, because it is targeted
at the full spectrum of the population, and because of the support
and monitoring of the organisations behind it.
TESTING
For those with existing skills at the required level, we can
offer testing alone. Those wishing to gain recognition and accreditation
for existing skills can be booked onto the relevant module testing
sessions. Each test takes 45 minutes and, upon successful completion,
the individual will gain a credit for that module towards their
full "Licence".
We provide a comprehensive pre-test assessment questionnaire
to help you establish your existing skills levels against the
requirements of the ECDL. Once you have completed and returned
the questionnaire we can then provide you with advice on whether
training is required to help you pass the test.

your employees, please contact
