| WHO IS THIS FOR?
This workshop is designed for leaders who wish to explore various styles of leadership and management. During the course participants will reflect upon the skills and attitudes required to harness employee potential, examine team roles and they will be provided with a range of tools and techniques to improve both personal and team performance.
OBJECTIVES
By the end of the workshop participants will be able to:
- identify personal challenges they may face in managing others and acknowledge key areas for personal development
- define and reflect upon the four different areas of leadership and management
- identify the roles individuals play in the development of effective teamwork
- apply a five-step delegation technique to ensure willing co-operation from others
- apply a corrective action process to hold team members accountable
- set realistic goals using SMART

METHOD
A range of personal planning and self-assessment tools will be used throughout the day, together with tutor and group discussions. All participants will be encouraged to play a part in group exercises.
